Here are some sock mushrooms that I've started collecting! The one on the right end belonged to my great great grand mother!! The other three are from eBay. The woman I bought them from told me two came from her grandmother in the UK and the other from a friend.
How very lovely. I love your mushrooms. I have a small collection of darning eggs. But few of mine still have their history attached. My pink marble one was my grandmother's. Most of the rest are just yard sale finds.
Oh, fergot! New email under my blogger profile. The old one is so crammed full of spam it depresses me to even attempt to wade through it all to get to the real people.

I've never seen sock mushrooms before, unless you count the ones growing in my laundry basket!
I've got one sad little wooden darning egg I use once in a while. I think maybe I need to knit some new socks so's I have something to darn...
