I loved knitting these socks. And have enough wool to make a couple more....hmmm one for me and one for my sister and one for?????Don't know what the yarn is as it was given to me by a friend and she had kept it for some years.
At the moment I have an awful flu, I'm supposed to be back at work today but wouldn't wish myself upon anybody just yet. well off to make another cup of my mother's tea remedies....
1 knob of ginger, sliced,
1 clove of garlic crushed,
1/2 slice lemon, chopped, black tea,
1 tablespoon of honey and dried mint leaves.
Mix with 2 cups of water.
Bring to the boil, turn down heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain into mug and drink!!
